There’s something magical about the Cycladic islands. Their architecture is instantly recognizable — simple lines, cube-shaped white houses, blue windows, narrow paths, and sun-drenched courtyards.
But this style didn’t happen by accident.
The design reflects survival: white walls to reflect the sun, rounded corners to break the wind, and flat roofs to collect rainwater.
As an artist living in Oia, I’m surrounded by this beauty every day. My work is deeply inspired by it. I love recreating miniature versions of Santorini’s architecture using pumice stone, which feels just as raw, natural, and timeless as the buildings themselves.
Each piece is not only a decoration — it’s a tribute to the wisdom and beauty of traditional Greek island living.
